How adorable is this baby girl! I did Cece’s 6 months session few months back and I was so excited when her mom contacted me to do her 1 year session at my studio in Nova. Cece is a very special rainbow baby,  so we decided to go with the rainbow theme for he cake smash.  We all had so much fun !

Outdoor Newborn Northern Virginia

Spring weather is the perfect time for outdoor newborn sessions. Initially, we had Leonardo’s session schedule for a Tuesday but it was raining and I knew his mommy wanted outdoor pictures so we re-schedule for Friday and we got so lucky. We had beautiful warm weather day and Leonardo loved been outside for most of his session. After taking his individual pictures we went next door to a gorgeous winery ( I know … how lucky are we here in Sonoma County ! ) and took family pictures.  Here are some of my favorite images from his session :

Northern Virginia Newborn Photographer

I met Ellis’ mom and beautiful family few months ago at their maternity session. We had a great time, and I was looking forward seeing them all gain. Specially meeting baby Ellis. He was the sweetest baby and slept straight for 2 hours .

All these gorgeous babies are sending me into a bit of a sentimental tailspin, recalling the days when my daughters were newborns and all the magical moments as we got to know one another. It is exhausting, and the days are long, but it as they say it goes by too quickly. Cherish the little moments and take a lot of pictures 🙂

Nova photographer

What a busy week at the studio ! We had 2 newborns, 3 smash cakes and a beautiful maternity session at Baker Beach in San Francisco yesterday . Check my instagram for a quick behind the scenes  video …

One of the milestone sessions was Stella’s cake smash. She came with her brother Will and after taking pictures in a couple different backgrounds, it was time for her smash and she loved it ! her bother Will also got into the action because… how can you resist  a yummy cake? . Super cute.
